Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the EX mobile application (the "App") operated by Saree Studio ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

EX is a currency conversion application that provides:

• Voice-powered currency conversion using artificial intelligence
• Manual currency conversion with live exchange rates
• Receipt/bill scanning for price extraction and conversion
• PDF export of conversion results

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Tiers

The App offers three access tiers:

• Guest (No Account): Limited to 3 lifetime conversions. Data stored locally on device only.
• Free (Registered Account): 7 conversions per week. Data synced to cloud. Usage counter resets weekly.
• Pro (Paid Subscription): Unlimited conversions and scans, PDF export, and all premium features.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.
• No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective policies.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. You will be notified before any price change takes effect.
• Subscriptions are managed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment details.

5. Disclaimer of Financial Accuracy

• Exchange rates displayed in the App are approximate and sourced from third-party providers. They may differ from actual bank or exchange rates.
• Exchange rates are cached and may be delayed by up to 60 seconds.
• We are NOT responsible for any financial decisions, losses, or damages based on rates or information shown in the App.
• Always verify exchange rates with your bank or financial institution before making any financial transactions.

6. AI and Voice Processing

• Voice conversion uses artificial intelligence for transcription and understanding. Results may not always be perfectly accurate.
• The receipt/bill scanner uses AI to extract prices. Extracted amounts should be verified by the user before relying on them.
• AI-generated results are provided "as is" and we make no guarantee of accuracy.
• You are responsible for verifying all conversion results before relying on them.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or unauthorized financial transactions
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the service
• Circumvent usage limits, subscription requirements, or security measures
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation or servers
• Use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App
• Share your account credentials with others

8. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by Saree Studio and protected by intellectual property laws.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• "EX" name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Saree Studio.
• You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saree Studio and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee 24/7 uptime.
• We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.
• Third-party service disruptions (exchange rate providers, AI services) may affect App functionality.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time.

12. Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active subscription.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
• Data deletion requests can be made by contacting support@saree.to or through the account deletion feature in the App's Settings.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the appropriate legal channels in the jurisdiction where we operate.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
